Can I use a restraint lanyard for fall arrest?

No. Restraint lanyards do not have shock absorbers and are strictly designed to prevent you from reaching a fall hazard. They must never be used where a fall is possible.

What lengths are available for hire?

We typically stock standard lengths of 1m, 1.5m, and 2m to suit various site requirements and work-positioning tasks. Other lengths are available on request.

Does it come with carabiners?

Our hire units are usually supplied with steel screw-gate carabiners or scaffold hooks; please specify your connection needs when booking.

How do I know if the rope is damaged?

You must perform a pre-use check for signs of fraying, chemical staining, or cuts. Any lanyard showing “fuzzing” or core exposure must be withdrawn from service immediately.
